"Transform A New You" Workshop
The
Inner Journey
The inner journey is crucial to our success of finding peace, joy, and passion for living. How do we begin the inner journey? By learning how to hear that still, quiet voice inside ... our higher self … our guiding light. Others may call this your “gut instinct”. Regardless what you call it, once you find this voice, trust it and act upon it, life takes on new meaning. Your external reality begins to change. Miracles begin to take place. Unfortunately many times we cannot hear our “true” voice because we are too distracted by all the external “noise” around us. In this session we will discuss the benefits of the journey and the tools you will need to be successful. Tools to be discussed and experienced will include yoga, meditation, journaling, art/music, chanting/prayer. Homework will be assigned and discussed at the next session.
Reinventing Yourself
Reinventing yourself … what
does this mean? Many interpret this strictly in the realm of wanting
to pursue a new career path or occupation and identifying what action is
required to accomplish this. In this session, we will go much deeper
and broader and begin to identify how we currently label all facets of
our current reality (career, education, family, relationships,
financial, spiritual, health, etc). Once we have our “as is” perception
of reality we will clear the slate and begin with a fresh perspective
creating a new vision for ourselves. Tools to be discussed and
experienced include dream building, creating a personal mission
statement and developing a vision board.
Pushing through the Challenges
How do we push through the
challenges? First and foremost, by our awareness to know when we are
experiencing a challenge. What does this mean? Many times, we are so
easily seduced by external distractions that we aren’t even aware that
we are now one to two degrees off course. Before we know it, our
commitment and we become discouraged and want to give it all up. Or we
become overwhelmed by emotions tied to negative beliefs such as
obligatory action associated with guilt or the need to please people.
In this session we’ll identify typical challenges and how we can take
steps to proactively mitigate them. Tools to be discussed and
experienced include personal “state” management, finding leverage, and
linking needs to healthy options.
What's Stopping You?
In this last session, we will
take inventory of all that we have learned and accomplished over the
last three sessions. Then we will assess the beliefs and emotions
behind the beliefs to determine if they are (or will be) road blocks to
your success to move forward. Tools to be discussed and experienced
include “story” identification, pattern interrupters and creating your
supporting dream team.
We will make
sure everyone has in place the tools to keep the practice going and
ensure you have the support to build upon what you have learned. We
will address any final issues that may have come up during the past four
months and send off empowered and uplifted to take on any challenge.
